WAFSU Aims

● TO upgrade the level of Coaches in School Aquatics at the cheapest possible cost utilizing efficient technology with WAFSU oversight.

● ENCOURAGE, ESTABLISH and be the governing body for SCHOOL AQUATICS throughout the world.

● GIVE fair and clean sport and protect the integrity of SCHOOL AQUATICS.

● IMPROVE safe SCHOOL Aquatics and the protection of Athletes from all forms of harassment and abuse.

● REINFORCE participation in Aquatics at all levels throughout the world, regardless of age, gender or race, and support activities aiming at ensuring that SCHOOL Aquatics and swimming skills in general are promoted in all countries and are accessible to individuals from all ages, gender, different backgrounds and capacities.

● AUTHORIZE competitions and events.

● ASSIMILATE rules and regulations for the approval by WAFSU of competitions and events.

● ENCOURAGE and organize World Championships and other competitions and events.

● CARRY the values of the Olympic Movement and continue to play a leading role in the WAFSU WORLD Movement. In particular to undertake its responsibilities to organize, supervise and officiate the SCHOOL Aquatics' program at the WAFSU Games.

● ENCOURAGE the development of facilities for SCHOOL Aquatics throughout the world.

● ESTABLISH and encourage activities and programs promoting the sustainability of SCHOOL Aquatics in all possible forms.

● ESTABLISH and encourage the education of Athletes, Coaches, Officials and other persons involved in SCHOOL Aquatics.

● IMPLEMENT any other activity to ESTABLISH SCHOOL AQUATICS.

UNITED WE SWIM, Philippines

Swimming’s unique ability to appeal to both genders, all age groups, cultural differences and fitness levels, as well as to those with physical challenges or health conditions, means the potential for engagement in the sport is huge and its benefits outweighs challenges.

Our main goal is to make swimming visible on a nationwide scale. As an archipelagic country, United by Water, our initiatives are response to the call of the changing times, we adopted a blue and green sports program.

Through the Drown Free Philippines Initiative we aim to make every Filipino a Swimmer,

Every Filipino a Lifesaver and Every Filipino a Warrior and Protector of God's creation, the Mother Earth.
